Villages Future Network NGO in partnership with SkyTeam Services English Club–Kenya is recruiting qualified and enthusiastic individuals for part-time opportunities as Online English Communication Tutors.

Tutors will conduct one-on-one online English conversation sessions with learners from Taiwan and other Southeast Asian countries, including both children and adults.

This program focuses on student-centered oral communication practice rather than formal classroom teaching. Each session lasts approximately one hour, during which tutors engage learners in interactive English conversations to help improve their speaking confidence and fluency.

We already have enrolled students, and registration is ongoing — making this a great opportunity to earn extra income part-time.

Basic Requirements

Applicants should:

1. Be able to communicate effectively in English (students and pupils may also apply by guardian/parent consent)
2. Have access to a laptop, desktop computer, or smartphone
3. Have a stable internet connection
4. Have reliable electricity/power supply/power bank
5. Be able to dedicate time for scheduled communication sessions any time of the day.

Payment

Tutors are paid between KSh 500 and KSh 800 per hour, depending on their level of education:

• Pupil/Student
• Diploma Holder
• Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc./B. A)
• Master’s and PhD

Selected applicants will be invited to a scheduled short online interview at their preferred date and time. The interview will take approximately 5 minutes and will mainly involve a brief self-introduction.

The purpose of the interview is to assess:

• English proficiency
• Pronunciation
• Accent and communication ability

We are particularly looking for candidates who can communicate in English with pronunciation close to native speakers.

Important Note

• Successful candidates will be notified and proceed to pay non-refundable membership fee of KSHS 500/=.
• The membership fee is only payable after successfully passing the interview.
